Mechanical Systems EngineerLaunch innovations in nearly every commercial and defense aircraft platform The Mechanical Systems and Components (MS&C) Environmental Control Systems (ECS) organization has an immediate need for a System Engineer to work on various Air Transport, Regional, Business and Military aircraft. This position reports to the Technical Airframe Integration and Test Senior Technical Manager and the broader MS&C Environmental Controls System organization. The primary responsibility of this position is to apply technical expertise to integration testing of complex systems and controls requirements development. Participating in all aspects of aircraft and system integration design and development activities with an emphasis on military applications Provides technical leadership to other disciplines, interfaces with internal leaders and external customers, chief engineers and subject matter experts to accomplish program objectives Leads the development of ECS system, component, controls and software requirements Must be able to read, write and speak English Travel to the US and/ or internationally:10% Key Responsibilities Requirements analysis Systems validation & verification Customer interaction Project coordination YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering field 5 years of aerospace hardware/controls development life cycle experience Due to export control regulations, this position requires US citizenship status.
